PRIMARY SCRIPTURES FOR BELOW EXPOSITION:

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him being delivered by the determinate councel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible he should be holden of it. For David speaketh concerning him, I forsaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue be glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou will not leave my soul in hell, neither will thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. (Acts 2:22-27) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethern, what shall we do? (Acts 2:37) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. (Acts 2:41)".

ADDITIONAL - SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES FOR BELOW EXPOSITION:

" He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And that condemantion, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they wrought in God" (John 3:18-21)

EXPOSITION:

In Peter's sermon to the people, it was the divine plan of God for Jesus to be crucified. However, the people (who crucufied Jesus) did not crucify Jesus believing it was God's plan (of salvation.) The people crucified Jesus out of their personal unbelief(s) of who Jesus claimed to be. Peter in the midst of his proclamation to the people identified to the people their issue at hand (their unbelief condition.) Peter was conscious of the accomplishment of salvation for the people while communicating with the people regarding their unbelief in Jesus. In his sermon to the people, he presented prophecy to remind the people who Jesus was/is, how Jesus was to and did resurrect, and how Jesus was the way to escape from hell. The spirit of God worked through Peter as he proclaimed his sermon and the sermon (by the spirit of God) brought self condemnation to the people that were in unbelief. The people self conscious(s) cut-pricked their own hearts and they determined within their self conscious(s) that they should believe in who Jesus claimed to be.

In the attempt to present salvation to the unbelievers, Peter did not focus solely on the people's belief -wicked works. Peter remained conscious of what needed to be accomplished (salvation.) Peter remined the people in his sermon what needed to be accomplished. In doing so, it helped Peter hear from God as he proclaimed to the people, remain in the spirit of God as he proclaimed to the people, be led by the spirit of God as he proclaimed to the people, and remain in proper balance of correction, compassion, and instruction while he proclaimed to the people. If Peter was soley-only conscious of the peoples unbelief condition and if the people heard Peter's words only-solely in reference to their unbelief condition, then their belief (conversions) could have been delayed or derailed. What we do know is this: Peter implemented and reminded the people what was to be accomplished (salvation) in conjunction to dealing with their issue at hand (unbelief) and it created conversions.

The spirit of God has commissioned me to remind you all (ECP Followers) to keep your minds and hearts on track regarding what's to be accomplished. Don't forget to talk about and proclaim "what's to be accomplished" amongst people while dealing with issues at hand with people. Why? Liken to Peter, it can help you hear from God, remain in the spirit of God (not the flesh), be led by the spirit of God, and remain in proper balance of correction, compassion, and instructions in the process of arriving to divine accomplishments. Protects you from soley-only focusing on the issue(s) at hand that have not arrived to their divine accomplishments which can derail or delay divine accomplishments.

Love you all in Christ!
