Dream is defined as mental activity, usually in the form of imagined series of events occurring during certain phases of sleep. It (dreams) can also be defined as a sequence of imaginative thoughts indulged in while awake. This devotion is written in the context of imaginative thoughts (dreams) while awake that are God - willed, gratifying, forthcoming, and realistic. No fear and no doubt dreams (God -willed, gratifying, and forthcoming) that are imagined now that can (that is possible) to come to pass - dreams that are Dreamingly Realistic.
If the words written in this devotion thus far creates or reassures this principle - Dreamingly Realistic, then this devotion can discontinue now because its intent is to simply confirm that you can dream with no fear, you can dream with no doubt, and you can dream with realistic fulfillment. However, to bring greater reassurance and credibility to this Dreamingly Realistic principle, we will briefly look at this principle from a biblical perspective (i.e. - what does the scriptures say about this to reassure this principle of Dreamingly Realistic?)
The letters written to the church at Thessalonica and believers everywhere (1 and 2 Thessalonians) was written with both focus and current relevance regarding God - willed, gratifying, forthcoming, and realistic occurrences - events in mind. It was (is) an epistle that focuses on Christian believers with current imaginative thoughts (dreams while awake) with an eschatological overtone. The realism within the overtone was (is) a reality of the Christian believers current imaginative thoughts regarding forthcoming occurrences steadfastly believed in (that are possible) to happen such as the church being raptured. Did Christ come back yet? No, but the Thessalonian Christian believers personal experience of conversion-change in their personal lives and their experience of the Apostle Paul's conversion-change in his (Paul's) life made Christ real-realistic to them (the Thessalonian Christian believers) that whatever was still forthcoming (such as the coming of Christ) was also real-realistic. Their faith and patience of hope (and love) was a remarkable example (a model or pattern) to others widespread in which part of their example was they were "a people looked upon as having dreams-imaginative thoughts while awake that were God - willed, forthcoming, gratifying, and realistic such as the coming of Christ.
ECP family, with faith and patience of hope (and love) combined with the will of God, dream with no fear and no doubt regarding the reality of gratifying - forthcoming occurrences for your life experiences.
